2nd Trip for Year 2008 ---> 8 days Jiangnan Shanghai, China
See my blog title today, very funny right?? Just back from Korea, now have to prepare for the next trip on this 15 May.... I think I this half year all spending on planning, preparing & going for trip le.... hehe... But it's ok with me la... Cuz at least i can fulfill 1 of my goal for this year... Before going to the NATAS Fair, i went to see the travel fair at Suntec, organized by several travel agencies, namely Dynasty Travel, CTC travel, SA Tours, etc... Collecting all the necessary information & starts doing comparison on the tour packages & pricing...
I went for NATAS Fair with Wei Yee on last sat, there's super long queue there, can u imagine from Hall 5 queue until the entrance of Hall 6... We spent for half an hour to get into the fair, cost me another S$3 for the admission fee...
I went to enquire for many famous travel agents, luckily i no need to spend much time to queue for the China Tour section, there's always a seat for me to enquire, hee... Whereas, Wei Yee need to queue very long for the free & easy package... Lastly, she book a 4 days 3 nights free & easy package to Hong Kong on this coming Jun for S$600+ per pax... I didn't book anything yet cuz I need to ask my family's opinion that night...
After all decisions have been made, i went to NATAS fair again on last sun alone... I book a 8 days Jiangnan & Shanghai tour package for 6 persons (my dad, mum, sis, me, aunty & uncle) from SA Tours... This is a super cheap offer given, S$499 for the 1st pax, S$199 for the 2nd pax, airport tax $285, so total up & average 1 person S$634 + Visa (S$55) + Optional trip & tour guide fee (S$122) = S$811 nett per pax... This trip include 1 day free & easy at Shanghai... I gave a deposit of S$2400 for 6 persons by using my Citibank credit card, then got a free luggage, quite stylo luggage, heee...
Last few days I called the agency, she told me this is already a confirmed group of 12 pax, so I no need to worry whether the group will be confirmed or not already lo... I'm quite looking forward for this trip, going holiday with family, sure will get a lot of fun!! hehe...
My bf'sis will be getting ROM on this coming 23rd March during her birthday... So, I’m busy shopping for her present as a Birthday cum ROM present, heeee....
This month I’ll be busy for this China trip preparation, e.g. doing visa... Next month I’ll be taking another 4 days annual leave to go for a 5 days CPA Pre-admission course on 17th-19th & 24th & 25th of Apr'08... Then I’ll be taking the last 2 days for annual leave & 3 days for unpaid leave, for the China trip, aiyo.... Cut salary... No $$ liao la...hehe...
Hopefully around Jun'08 or July'08, I can get my increment which is back dated from Apr'08, then I can decide whether to change the job this year or staying here for another few months... This year is pretty short for me, almost half a year spent on trips, then left another half year to achieve my another 2 goals... Recently, I keep having a thought that I’m getting older & older already... Therefore, I must spend my precious time wisely... hehe... Now I suddenly think of someone's quote "Live life to the max!" hehe... Maybe some of u still can remember who this person is, hehe... I know my situation well, I think my last goal would not be able to achieve this year, maybe need to postpone to next year ba, I hope my family know I’ve already put on efforts to do it...
